Fun Edward Scissorhands Costume

David my 3 yr old is wearing this Edward Scissorhands costume. I got the idea off adult versions of the same costume. My mom and I created the costume. We bought the jacket at VOA and altered it to fit him. The jeans were his but my mom but a leather skirt at voa and made chaps for his black jeans. We bought a bunch of different belts at VOA and goodwill which then we just randomly put together. His boots were also a VOA purchase we just added a belt buckle to each boot. We bought the wig at Walmart and then cut and teased the hair. I made the hands out of still file folder, cut the shapes and covered it in tin foil and then we used electrical tape to tape them on to his gloves. The pointer fingers are scissors made out of plastic knives and then covered in tin foil.
