Mickey and Pluto Costume

My dog Doc is wearing his Mickey Mouse costume created by my mother, Jackie Higgins. The costume is a black and red cotton/polyester fabric blend, sewn together to create the Mouse body and pants. His ears are fabric covered cardboard circles sewn onto a Dog-sized headband. The shoes are a yellow fabric similar to the costume body. His tail is made of parachute cord braided together and sewn down to the costume. I am dressed as Pluto. My mother used felt for the collar and we created the tag out of cardboard and silver duct tape. My ears are a headband covered in fabric and then the actual ears are felt sewn on. My tail is the same cord (but 12 strands braded) as the Mickey tail.
