This homemade costume for babies entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kara, the 'Mia's Salon' costume creator:
Our 6 month old daughter Mia was pulled around this year in her very own Mia's Salon made personally by her Daddy. The Idea came from my husband. Mia is only 6 months old, so she cannot walk yet. She has a 2 1/2 year old brother who was very excited about Halloween this year, so we wanted to include her in on it! Instead of carrying her around in a boring costume, we decided to do a DIY and personalize it just for her.
We used 2 x 2's, 2 x 4 's, large board cut down and sanded, spot lamp, paint, spray paint, sock, stencils, baby bumbo seat, nail polish, hot glue, curlers.
Cut board down, sanded it, painted it, spray painted spot lamp, attached lamp at proper height that matched the baby's height while sitting. Painted on letters, glued down other objects on board, glued curlers on hat. Made sure board was secured onto wagon and did not move.
After all said and done, she loved it, and everyone else absolutely loved it! That's why we are entering her into the contest...we were told multiple times tonight to do so!
