This homemade costume for couples entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Rhonda, the 'Mel and Flo' costume creator:
My husband and I are Mel and Flo from the sitcom "Alice". I purchased clothing from goodwill and adjusted size by sewing machine. I made waitress cap from scrap fabrics. Apron and hankerchief was cut and sewn from goodwill pillowcase. Mel's apron is made from old bath towel for used vintage look. We wanted a vintage costume that no one else would think of. We nailed it. Won our campground community's annual contest!!
