This homemade costume for women entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Madison, the 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' costume creator:
December 2018, watching season two of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, I came up with the idea to dress as "The Mad Divorcee of the Upper West Side" for Halloween! Her character's faults and optimism make her relatable and inspirational for all trying to pursue their dreams. Who better to dress up as?!
Nearly all items were purchased on Amazon (dress, gloves, microphone). The dress did not include the signature bows so I purchased 1" ribbon and added them myself. Pair the outfit with black kitten heels and red lipstick.
