This homemade costume for women entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tiana, the 'Marion Ravenwood' costume creator:
This is my replica costume of Marion Ravenwood's Cairo outfit from the first Indiana Jones movie. I drafted the pattern for the blouse myself and modified a commercial pattern for the pants. I did several mock up's of the bodice before I was happy with how it looked.
I ended up spending 90+ hours on the embroidery on the bodice, which I did in 1 month to have it ready to wear for an event. Truth be told, that's only about half of the embroidery. :)
