Mad Hatter Costume

I made this costume for myself, inspired by the Tim Burton Mad Hatter. Most pieces are thrift store finds, with some personalization, except the corset, which was bought at a renaissance festival. The teacup holster, Queen of Hearts pincushion, thread bandolier, and hat are all completely handmade by me. The hat actually has a compartment in the top, and the top opens to allow access to whatever I choose to keep in it. I labelled the glass vials 'upelkuchen powder', 'shrinky drink', and 'Jabberwock venom.' Upelkuchen is the name of the cake that makes Alice grow taller. The whole costume took me approximately 6 months to make, and I lost track of how much I spent.
