This homemade costume for women entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Gabrielle, the 'Lydia Deetz' costume creator:
I wore this costume yesterday for the Voodoo Music Festival in New Orleans. The idea for this costume came from the movie Beetlejuice, which is one of my favorite Halloween movies! This dress was originally a knee length red dress but my grandmother added on layers of tulle and a v-shaped neckline with a lace collar. My grandmother also made a veil out of tulle and I bought some cheap red gloves from walmart to wear as well.
