Love Goddess Costume

Here I am, wearing the Love Goddess costume. I wanted to do an unconventional take on Greek Mythology, and Venus was the goddess of love and marriage. I had some red vinyl left over from a college fashion show, and decided to use that for the jacket. I also had stuffing from when I had the sun visor on the car re-upholstered, and used that for the quilting. I spent around 25 dollars on brocade, lining and elastic straps for the top. The top and the veil I improvised at the last minute.
