Loki from The Avengers Costume

I made this entire costume from scratch, including the helmet and armor and all. It cost me a pretty penny(around $2,000 total with all supplies) and took me over three months from start to finish. This is me wearing the costume. The most difficult part was the helmet. I had to first sculpt a full replica from clay and then make a silicone mold of it. It was my first time doing anything like that so it was definitely a learning experience. It took me about six different sculpts and molds to get it the way I wanted it. Then I made a resin plastic helmet and sanded it, adding details in with a dremel, and then began with paints and aging. It was the first costume I have ever tried to build and I learned a ridiculous amount about costume making in the process. Now I'm able to commission helmets and armor as a part time job thanks to everything that I learned and went through to build the costume!
