This homemade costume for babies entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Sara, the 'Little Owl' costume creator:
I made this costume for my 4 month old daughter, Harper. I decided to make an owl because she has a small blanket with an owl head on it that she loves. I wanted it to be original so I cut up feathers from extra scrap fabric and felt. I made a cape that I sewed to a long sleeve onesie and covered in fabric feathers. I made the hat (which includes eyes and a beak) and feet from felt.
