A word from Natalee, the 'Lisa Frankenstein' costume creator:

I present to you...Lisa Frankenstein! She is a 90's twist on the classic monster we all know and love! Every 90's girl had Lisa Frank stickers, school supplies and accessories so I took my colorful childhood love and made it a bit spooky with my favorite monster! I am wearing my own creation.

The idea actually hit me when I was getting a foot massage after a long day of work in August! I was daydreaming about Halloween ideas and I was wanting to be some type of monster but wanted to make it more fun! I thought of Frankenstein and from there somehow thought of Lisa Frankenstein! And so my idea was born!

Luckily Lisa Frank is making a come back so I was able to order two booklets ($9 each) of 1200 Lisa Frank stickers each off Amazon! I first covered the 4 inch platform boots I ordered off Mercari ($40) with hundreds of stickers with the assistance of Modge Podge. I then found a heart shaped purse at Five Below ($5) and covered it with stickers as well using Modge Podge. I wanted legit body paint so I looked to Graftobian.com for professional paint ($14). I then searched Poshmark and Mercari for clothing. I found a used Lisa Frank unicorn dress ($20) along with a LF baby romper with the Hip Hop bears 1993 on it ($20), a tshirt with Peace Out Aliens ($14) and another shirt with cheetah print lips ($16). I cut out each of the graphics and sewed them on my dress with a thick Frankenstein like stitching. Additionally I added a black petticoat ($20) for volume under my dress and a black belt I used to wear in high school. I purchased a wig ($14 Amazon), added my own ribbon (50cents) from Goodwill and purchased the essential Frankenstein monster bolts ($14 Amazon). I worked on my costume over the span of 4 days.

It took about 2 hours for me to get painted & dressed once everything was created but it was oh, so worth it! Hope you love her as much as I do!
