Lion King's Rafiki Costume

I chose to make a homemade rafiki for myself based on a collaboration of ideas I got from browsing online. I figured it was a timely costume too as a version of Lion King was released this past year in theaters. The Lion King was also a classic favorite Disney movie of mine as a child.

What I used to make this costume:
Makeup-Mehron paradise paint $30
Gray fleece long sleeve shirt and gray workout pants already owned
One set of gray stockings already owned
2 blue balloons for the baboon butt
safety pins (about 10) to pin felt and balloons
light gray felt fabric from Joann Fabrics $2
recycled paper to stuff one stocking leg to make the tail

What I used to make Rafiki's Bakora Staff:
a stick I found hiking in the woods
one grapefruit, one orange, and one lemon
straws and yarn to hang the fruit
