Cole DX Lego Ninjago Costume

My son, Dane, has been obsessed will all of the Lego Ninjago games, tv show, and legos since they first came out. This year he told us he wanted to be Cole, his favorite. I was amazed as my wife, who homeschools our three children, worked on this for weeks prior to Halloween. Some ideas worked, and others had to be modified or completely revamped. She went though quite a bit of black spray paint, black duct tape, soft foam, and gold craft paint. The head has a cardboard top, card stock formed to a cylinder, and soft foam glued all the way around and on top. She then carved out the soft foam and cut out the eye slot, covered it on the inside with black stocking and painted everything but the eyes/eyebrows yellow. The most detailed is the dragon on the from of the chest and legs. She hand painted this from scratch using the small lego man and a larger print out from online.
