|Costume type:||Costumes for Boys|
This homemade costume for boys entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amber, the 'Lego Darth Maul' costume creator:
My son, Dominic, age 6, was a homemade Lego Darth Maul. He loves Legos, and is also very fond of Star Wars. The head and body were made from soft styrofoam, covered by shiny black pleather material. The legs were made from strong cardboard boxes, also covered with the shiny black material. We used that specific material for the "plastic look". His cape was made of plain, thin, black cotton material. We used a paint marker for the chest and face detail. We used velcro to hold the "Lego pieces" on to a simple pant and shirt made from the same shiny black material. His Lego hands were removable, and attached with velcro.
