Jellyfish Costume

My daughter who is 8 wanted to be a jellyfish, after hunting for a tutorial, we found a few ideas online and got to working.
We spray painted an old sombrero blue, then filled it with wrapped up bubble wrap, inserted green battery lights, some more bubble wrap on top to make it smooth, lots of hot glue then covered it in sheer fabric. More hot glue.
Then we took every elastic ribbon and shimmery ribbon we could find and glued them to the underside of the sombrero. It needed light on the bottom, so we added MORE lights. Wow.
Then I made a simple scarf to hold fabric cut into spirals for the loopy effect, and ta daaaaa. When she walks it floats. I am so excited to send her out in the dark of Halloween in a glowing costume. It's gonna be epic!
