Jack Skellington Costume

My fiance Logan is wearing this costume. The idea came from our 6 year old daughters favorite movie The nightmare before christmas. To create this costume I made a live cast from his head and built the prosthetic for his face on that cast. For his costume I just bought a suit from a thrift store, altered it to fit him tightly, reconstructed the armpits, spray painted it black and then used white dimensional fabric paint for the pinstriping. I also used modeling clay to build a base for building extensions for his fingers. I used a balloon to build his bald cap with liquid latex. His prosthetic is build layed at a time with liquid latex and torn apart cotton balls and sculpted and built until it looked how I wanted it to. It was then spray painted with latex paint and then airbrushed for the small details. For the bow tie on the front I sculpted the cat face out of crayola Madeline magic air dry clay and painted it then sealed it with epoxy. I used avo craft foam to do the wings comming off of the cat face,I rounded them slightly with a hair dryer, then used the dimensional white fabric paint to do the details on them.
