Ice Cream Queen Costume

I asked my daughter Emma what she wanted to be for Halloween this year, and without hesitation, she said, "An Ice Cream Queen!" So I set out to make her just that. I had an older pageant dress of hers that I used for just the shell of the costume. For the lattice effect on the skirt, I sewed on tulle and criss crossed it over each other and tied it with ribbon where the fabric met. I then embellished the whole outfit in ice cream stickers and things like that. I also embellished a crown for her and made her an ice cream scepter. She was very pleased with the end result as was I.
