Humpty Dumpty Costume

I had so much fun making this costume. It started out as a simple concept, but the little details made it so fun to make.
I made the wall out of cardboard with a wooden base for stability. I cut out each brick and glued them on the make the wall more realistic and 3D. I sponge painted the bricks using a few colours and added moss around some of the bricks. I cut a neck hole on the top so I could stand behind it and put the fake Humpty Dumpty legs over the front.
The Humpty Dumpty body was sewn together and just Velcroed around my neck. I used the arms and shoes from a Mrs Claus doll.
The Kings Horses and Men were made from Barbie horses and dolls. I made all the outfits and added glue, tape and bandaids to their hands.
He face was done by applying a bald cap with liquid latex. I then used makeup to blend it all together.
The nursery rhyme was written on Bristol board that already had the scroll on it. I just cut it out and added the words. I applied it to the wall using a drawer knob.
