Hot Air Balloon Costume

My 8 year old daughter Isabella is wearing this costume. The idea came from Isabella after seeing a hot air balloon.
I made it using a large balloon which I paper mached. (popped the balloon after) I cut out strips of felt and hot glued them to the paper mache balloon. I then hot glued ribbon over the seams. I attached the balloon to two activity poles using cable wire. I cut out the bottom of a basket and attached it to the poles using cable wire. I then attached brown paper bags filled with newspaper to the basket corners. I printed and cut the sign and attached that with tape. I used a flameless candle and attached that to the base of the balloon, above Isabella's head. We completed the costume with aviator clothing including a jacket, hat, goggles, scarf (I made of felt) pants and boots.
