This homemade costume for kids entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jason, the 'Hot Air Balloon' costume creator:
We made this costume to go over top of our sons wheel chair.
It's approx. 9' tall and rides about 3" off the ground.
The basket is weaved out of 4" strips of 1/4" plywood, and the balloon is shaped using 1/2" pex pipe bed into hoop shapes.
The flame is a battery operated flaming cauldron.
It also has balloon sound effects played through a blue tooth speaker.
