Hocus Pocus Costume

My girls and I adore Hocus Pocus but we operate on a budget and can’t do $70 a costume, so I hit the consignment stores! I was Winifred. I had the red wig from a previous year and pinned it up. My oldest was Sarah, definitely the easiest. I tore up an old prom dress, and found a red princess dress at consignment, hair and makeup by yours truly. My 2 year old at the time was Mary, complete with her catch phrase “I smell children!” I used colored pipe cleaners in her hair and used lip stain for the lopsided lips! My husband was clever with his sign and cap! We were a hit in our little town!! Definitely my favorite costumes to date!
