Hide N Seek Theme: Carmen San Diego, Inspector Gadget, Where's Waldo

My theme for this group costume with my 2-year-old twins was "Hide N Seek"! Still too young to really understand Halloween nor have an opinion on what costume to wear, I had a little fun re-imagining some of my favorite characters from my childhood. Carmen and Waldo were pretty easily assembled from thrift store finds and his had which I knitted. The Waldo hat was definitely the most difficult task, especially in keeping it from toppling off my head! I ended up attaching it all to a yardstick that runs from the back of the hat and down the inside of the trench coat which gave it the stability it needed to have some Halloween fun. Not everyone who saw our group recognized the characters but those who did HAD to come tell us about how much they loved it!
