Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon 2 Costume

My son Ethan is 2 and he loves Toothless the dragon. I made his costume from a vinyl jacket cut to fit short. The shoulder pads were made from craft foam. A belt was cut and sewn on the jacket and two other belts were used over the vest. Dragon symbols were cut from craft foam and one was painted on the belt with red puffy paint. Faux leather was used to create the vest and the outer chaps of the pants. A sock painted silver was used to put over one shoe to create the missing leg. To go with his costume, I painted an old baby roller coaster cart and glued on craft foam to make the tail and wings. Total cost about $45
