Headless Costume

Made this costume for my son Alex. I used a old backpack with a pull up handle. I attached a fake neck which I made out of a square plastic bowl. I attached the bowl to the handle and topped the bowl with toilet paper soaked in glue. I let the mixture dry and painted it with red and black paint for the blood! I then stuffed a pair if gloves and pinned them to a long sleeve shirt . I put the shirt over the back pack and buttoned it up leaving a slot for my son to stick his head out. I added the rain coat so u couldn't see the back pack under the shirt . After he stuck his head threw the shirt I pinned the hands in place to look like they were holding his head!! I painted blood around his neck to look so it would look like it was bleeding!
