This homemade costume for women entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Judy, the 'Headless Queen' costume creator:
Judy Briggs is wearing the costume, I also hand made the costume. While working at the museum I was inspired by all of the paintings in the Berger Collection.
I used old clothing bought at the thrift store.
Plastic grocery bags and newspaper for
the stuffing, Chinese to go plastic container for the neck, old beads from the casinos and ketchup for the blood and white gloves.
A true DIY. I really hope this inspires people to think outside the box and find uses for common things that would be discarded. HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!
