This homemade costume for boys entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Dominik, the 'Red Hood' costume creator:
This red hood costume is based off of D.C. Comics and red hood and arsenal. I made the jacket with a gold fabric curtain and hot glued it together, I didn't sew it since I don't know how to sew but still came out great! I made the helmet form Eva foam, white mesh and put three coats of modge podge and painted it red. I made the gauntlets with fabric and cardboard. I made knee pads with shin piece made with fabric and foam. This took me a while to make but eventually came out pretty great. I really hope I win!!!
