This homemade costume for girls entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Cindy, the 'Pink Flamingo' costume creator:
My granddaughter wanted to be a flamingo. I started out with using feathers but soon realized how messy that would be. I modified Pixie's Pedal Dress pattern from createkidscouture.com for the skirt and "winged" the wings using the pedals from the same pattern. She loved it and it didn't shed!
