Oompa Loompa Costume

My 23 month old son Tucker was an oompa loompa for Halloween. My husband and I decided that this is the last year that we will probably get a say in what he wears because next year he will have his own ideas of what he wants to be so we chose an oompa loompa. I found a pair of white sweatpants at Goodwill and a brown turtleneck at Goodwill. I sewed a pair of white toddler tights to the pants for suspenders and I glued white felt to the neck and sleeves of the turtleneck and brown felt to a pair of his socks. We sprayed his hair green and off we went! The total cost of this outfit was about $11.00. We had a blast making it but even more fun when we saw Tucker in it!
