A word from Michael, the 'Monster on Monster' costume creator:

Hello..
My name is Michael Jaber and I am wearing the costume. The idea came from a friend of mine who is really creative and he gave me the instructions, as well as materials that I would need, to make my costume. I started by going a store called Fleet Farm and buying a pair of bib overalls. I then purchased two masks, one for me and one for the little monster that is a part of my costume. some heavy duty waxed twine and a need for sewing, and some really good glue! I started by sewing the high top tennis shoes to the bottom the the legs of the bibs. I then cut slits in the back of the upper legs in the bibs, and then stuffed the legs with foam to give the legs a "filled out" look. I sewed a pair of shorts to a short and then sewed that right above where I put a slit in the back of the bibs. This allows me to slip the bibs on with my feet through the slits, and through the shorts to give the illusion that the little monster is its own person(the little monster's legs are mine).I then glue some foam inside the shirt to the upper shoulder area to make it look like the little monster has a rounded back. I stuff the sleeves of the shirt and make some foam hands to glue to the top of the bibs to give the appearance that the little monster is carrying me on his shoulders! I then wear a mask and latex monster gloves to finish off the outfit! People love this costume and the big monster's mask, scares the heck out of people because it looks so real! It was worth the time that I put in tot make it. The whole costume cost me $80 to make(most of the cost was the two masks).
