Head-in-a-Jar Costume

My 11 year-old son is wearing the costume. He saw a yard decoration of the Headless Horseman and wanted something similar for his costume. We used pvc pipes to form the shoulders and support the trench coat. We put the bottoms of the pipes in a backpack that my son wore. We cut out the back of a plastic jar, applied make-up for the "dead-look" and then he put his head in the jar. Pinned gloves to the trench coat sleeves then attached the gloves to the jar with velcro.
