A word from Holly, the 'Connie and Beldar Coneheads' costume creator:

We love the movie so we had to bring it back! Bought the cones and cut out the ears. Used a bald cap and latex to make it blend. Beldars outfit was an old curtain we cut. Connie's outfit was in my closet ;)

What did you use to make it the cone shape?

#13 comment by Holly October 26, 2015

Hey Aliso, I bought them on amazon, but you have to cut the ears off and use latex to blend. I also used the can tan spray to blend the cones with our skin

I just bought the cones and it's too big for my head. Did you have to cut yours a bit to fit yours ?
Any other suggestions would help out alot.

Hi Joan, I do recall doing a lot of cutting and folding to get it to fit. Keep in mind we blended with latex and cut off the ears. We also made it blend by covering with the headbands

What did you use to keep the cones "inflated" and stuff without becoming too heavy?
