Benjamin Button Baby Costume

This is my son, 7 month old Benjamin! This costume is loosely based on the character Benjamin Button, a nickname my son has been given since he was born with a little button nose and named Benjamin. But this costume arose mainly from my occupation. I am an Occupational Therapist and work closely with the geriatric population. Part of my role includes fitting clients for assistive devices, such as walkers. I could think of no better prop for my son's first Halloween costume than a miniature version of what I do everyday for my clients! I measured my son and custom-designed the walker, and my husband created the design using PVC pipes from the local hardware store. Benjamin's outfit is a combination of clothes already in his closet! This costume combines a nickname he has been given, plus the expertise of his OT mama and handy dad!
