Assassin's Creed Syndicate Jacob Frye Costume

The idea came from my favorite video game Assassins Creed. We cut up and sewed leather, quilted by hand onto a trench coat. The asymmetrical hood. Just like the one Jacob wears in the game was also hand made by cutting a black hoodie and sewing out back together with leather pieces used from my mom's old dress. The Hidden blade gauntlet is a replica of the one in the game as well. It is activated by pushing a button. We found the rest of old London style attire at a few local salvation army stores after searching for the perfect combination. The top hat is something that Jacob changes into and out of depending on when he needs to blend I to the crowd, he takes it off and puts on his hood when he is in stealth mode. We also used and modified some leather belts to have pockets for the assassin's various weapons. I had a great time making and wearing the costume. I walked with my step dad in the nyc Halloween parade and a lot of people really liked it.
