A Christmas Story Family Costume

Our family decided to do Christmas in October this year. We've been plotting these costumes for a while, so it's been fun to see them come together so well.

I sewed the pink nightmare bunny suit using a tutorial from instructable. It was very helpful and told me exactly how to do everything with pictures.

The lampshade was purchased at a thrift store. We cut out the metal parts inside and hot glued fringe around the bottom.

Our little cowboy (actually a cowgirl) is sporting some chaps I got on ebay and a shirt we thrifted but fixed up a bit by hot glueing some sequins and fringe on.

And our little Randy (also a girl) isn't really wearing a costume, just her winter gear :)
