The Great Pumpkin Harvest Costume

This is Larry the dachshund in his 2013 Halloween costume. He and his farmer friend is carrying a giant pumpkin from this years harvest!
I used old baby jeans and shirts my children wore and sewed them to fit Larry's short and long body. The pumpkin was a hallow pumpkin from the craft store that I cut to fit around his belly. The jeans in back have a hole for the tail and a Velcro belly support strap. I saved some hair from his last haircut to make slightly more realistic paw arms. Larry will wear anything as long as you give him Cheerios.
