This homemade costume for couples entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Callie, the 'Forrest Gump and Lt. Dan' costume creator:
This is my first year as a double below the knee amputee. So I knew Halloween was going to be fun!
After thinking over our options we finally landed on Forrest Gump and Lt. Dan. It was just too perfect!
For my husbands costume it was fairly simple - khakis, short sleeved blue and white checkered shirt, belt, colorful socks, running shoes and the infamous Bubba Gump hat! To top it off he held a ping pong paddle.
For my costume I wore army green pants tied at the bottom, white tank with a Hawaiian print shirt, dog tags, greased my hair up, drew on a beard, wore a bandanna and I purchased a fake black and mild for the cherry on top!
This was so much fun!
