This homemade costume for women entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Kayla, the 'Flesh Masquerade' costume creator:

I am wearing this flesh masquerade mask and makeup which is completely homemade. I had seen a picture online of this look and had actually found a tutorial of how to do it on YouTube. The mask is a plain white mask attached to a chopstick. On the mask is scar putty (from spirit Halloween stores for about $5) and liquid latex (also Spirit Halloween about $5). The makeup is done using liquid latex and pieces of tissues as well as "vampire blood" ( spirit Halloween stores approximately $7-9). I also used some grease makeup that I picked up last minute from CVS for $5. The most expensive thing was the cloak which was $30 at Spirit Halloween. If I could give any tips, be prepared to have your eyes water from the smell of the liquid latex. When it's wet, it's horrible. All in all I love this look and am very proud of it.
