This homemade costume for pets entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
Once we got our puppy, we knew that for Halloween he was going to be an Ewok. I cut a piece of felt into a full circle. Then cut a 3 in slit in the middle for his face and 2 small 1 inch slits for his ears. Next I wove leather string around the opening for the face. After, I created a cape effect by gathering the material under the hole for his face and using the leather to string to hold it in place. The best part was the entire costume cost me under $10.
