Deer Baby Costume

Little Hayli 14 months old and is wearing a baby deer costume that I made for her second Halloween. It’s made from a A-line dress pattern that I pieces and converted into in top with lace ruffled bottom and a simple skirt. The headband antlers and flowers are all made from felt. I got the idea from several different Etsy listings that I put together to make her a one of a kind costume. The top and skirt were all made from fat quarters so it cost less than $3.00 in material for all. The headband and felt appropriately cost $10.00 in material from antlers and flowers to the glue and tooth picks used to keep the antlers standing up. The buttons I used were vintage button given as a gift so no cost there and the lace was also given to me from a wedding. So my total cost in this project is $13.
