Steampunk Robot Secretary Costume

My costume is a steampunk robot secretary she works on the villain hotline besides answering phone she's an agent of chaos herself she knows kung foo and how to pick up the dry cleaning lol. I made this costume tutu, jacket, and bloomers, shirt:-) myself using recycled and vintage pieces of fabric and trim the bustle actually lights up with mini battery operated lights my head gear, my headpiece is a monocle, it is built on a headband. Spy kids tech gear from McDonalds, lol:-) lace covering the lights and a backpack in the jacket lights up as well the jacket is a Harajuku style with chains and bits. I was inspired for this outfit by steam powered giraffe especially the character named the spine that is where the makeup design comes from.

I won 2nd place at steampunk symposium costumes contest with this outfit, its hard to see the prop in my picture but it is a dial phone that we have steam coming out when you pick the receiver up it makes noise I made this prop with the help of my friends I have made everything. The chains and pins and other hardware on the jacket are collected and recycled, mybrooch is a Golden Frog which in Japanese culture is good luck.

The idea behind this robot secretary is she was made by a mad Japanese scientist so she has some glitches and likes monster moviesI was in character the whole day with this outfit very fun very cool to make and I had a great time thank you and have a great day.
