This homemade costume for women entered our 2011 Halloween Costume Contest.
I really wanted to dress up as a mermaid this year. I made the skirt out of satin.. I actually didn't have a sewing machine so I hot glued it together.. I also made a handle for the skirt so I could walk around. The makeup I did myself I used eyelash glue to stick the sequins and gems on my skin.
