A word from Molly, the 'I dream of Jeannie' costume creator:

Granting wishes all Oct. 31st. I went to the idea to be "I dream of Jeannie" who is also riding on a magic carpet and with the bottle underneath. My dad and I worked on this project for over a month and 1/2. The bottle is made out of PVC piping, chicken wire, rolling wheels, wood base, fabric/ribbon and fake jewels. It has led lights that blink surrounding the inside of the bottle to illuminate the bottle up in the dark. The bottle has latches to keep it together, but can be separated into two to get it inside a vehicle. The rug is made out of an actual carpet attached to pvc piping. Attached to the rug is (with hole cut in the center) is fake legs made out of chicken wire, gorilla tape, fake feet and covered in a felt shoes. Legs are covered in leggings then with sheer pink material and sequined pink material. The waistband & buttocks is also made from chicken wire and covered in gorilla tape followed by felt/sequined material. My outfit is made out of felt, sequined material and sheer pink material. The hat is also made of felt with a sheer draping. I'm wearing 5inch heels to achieve the correct height for my natural waist to look like the fake waist. There is a band in the inside center of the bottle which allows me to push the bottle forward on wheels with my pelvis and so my arms could be free to cross in the "genie" position. It was a very fun costume to wear and I tricked many into think those were my real legs/feet. They thought the walking was actually a mechanical movement. :)
