Pot of Gold Costume

This is my cat Mr. Gaylyn Micah and this cream colored furry kitten is rocking a pot of gold. It represents his personality purrfectly - he is our pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! He can be a handful sometimes, so we thought that was a nice take on it, too. I made this costume out of felt - I came up with the idea on my own, and creating background pieces to create a scene as well. After cutting various pieces of felt fabric and gluing them together, he had a costume! I purchased gold coin candy to add to the top of his felt hat, and tied in string so that it would stay on his head. It was neat because the felt stuck directly to the white sheet that I used as a backdrop, so I didn't need to do hardly anything for decor! What a cutie. :)
