The Stove Costume

My very imaginative four-year-old son loves cooking and baking. He says he wants to be a chef when he grows up! When I asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween he very simply replied "a stove of course"! As you can imagine, they don't make too many toddler stove costumes, therefore I had no other choice but to make one.

Costume instructions:
Big cardboard box
Black spray paint
A sharp knife for a grown-up to use to cut head and arm holes
A small piece of plexiglass to use as the oven door
Images from the Internet of burners, stove dials, and the screen of the stove
Small over the cupboard door hanger used as the stove handle
Accessorize with small frying pan, scary eyeballs, and a hand coming out of the oven door
All accessories purchased at the Dollar Store
A chefs hat and oven mitts to round out the costume
