A word from Jenna, the 'The In N Out Burger Number One' costume creator:

As pictured, I was the double double, my best friend Autumn was the fries, and my boyfriend Jimmy was the strawberry milkshake. Jimmy was scrolling the internet looking for popular Halloween costumes and he saw someone dressed as a burger and that reminded him of In N Out. And we are huge fans so it was a perfect fit for us. Jimmy made all of the costumes and I assisted where I could. He started with the burger and just took it piece by piece from the top down with the bun first, then the cheese, meat, cheese, meat, lettuce, tomato, spread. Lots of different colors and types of fabrics were sewn together for the final product. A cotton type stuffing was used to give fluff to the meat pattys and buns, and we used some stiffer material to shape the inside of the buns. The fries were made out of foam and covered in yellow fleece. The tray for the fries was foam board. The milkshake was shaped with cardboard and covered in poster board. All of the In N Out decals were printed on sticker paper and easy to apply. The entire set only cost us about $100 to make. After we finished making the costumes, we went to In N Out for the full effect, and were overwhelmingly greeted with photos. We also wore our costumes out in West Hollywood for the world's largest Halloween party and we had about 600 people take our picture or take a picture with us - no, seriously, we counted! It was a hit! A couple of our friends joined our theme that night as In N Out workers, too! We've included some candid pictures of us that people posted on Instagram and Facebook.
