This homemade costume for girls entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Erica, the 'Puppy Love' costume creator:
This costume was made custom for my daughter Gracie and my Great Dane Gypsy for a school photo contest. I made this costume with store bought bandanas and strips of lace with an elastic waistband. Cut bandanas in various lengths and tie to elastic make a fabric tutu. The halter top is a plain white bandana sewn with space for strips of bandana to fit. I made the saddle pad from felt with hot glue and cut strips of bandana to look like fringe. I ordered the hat, boots, and saddle from ebay. I used an old show (horse) breast collar for my dog and the little belt.
