La Muerte Costume

My daughter as Le Muerte from the movie the "Book of Life". We extended a black Zorro hat we bought with cardboard and covered it all with red felt. I made most of the flowers out of yellow and orange tissue paper, made the candles and flames out of colored scrapbook paper. The mask I bought with the design and just colored and adding more design with puff paints. The dress we already owned and just embellished with the small plastic skulls and tissue flowers. the flowers on the side of the mask I made out of scrapbook paper. Plastic skulls and leaves and feathers were purchased at a craft store. Total cost was about $30-35.00 for materials.
