This homemade costume for families entered our 2011 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jaimi, the 'Katy Perry' costume creator:
We did a family theme this year, California Girls Inspired Video. I dressed as Katy Perry. The costume was hand made, decorated with candies made from tissue paper, felt, glitter and all sorts of goodies. I made my daughters Peppermint "boobies" and her headband out of styrofoam, glitter, paper and shrikwrap, and I made my son's gingerbread man costume out of felt. I painted TMZ on my husband shirt so that he could be our photographer and follow us around all night. My daughter cupcake was bought from Old Navy, but her cupcake hat is homemade! It was a blast and everyone loved it!
