Doc McStuffins and Lambie Costume

My daughter wanted to be Doc McStuffins. The store bought costume was kind of flimsy, so I went on a hunt for all of the pieces.

I bought the purple headband and glued the flowers to it. The lab coat was purchased from CutePolkaDots on Etsy and embroidered with "Doc Amelia McStuffins" (her name is Amelia). The top and skirt were bought on clearance. We couldn't find leggings like the ones Doc wears (lavender, pink and white polka dots), so we opted for glittery lavender tights and pink polka dot socks. Her shoes came from Target. We already had the stethoscope and "doctor tools" to complete her look.

My daughter wanted me to be Lambie, Doc's toy friend. I couldn't find a lamb costume, so I ordered a white, fleece, hooded onesie from Funzee.com. My ears came from TechnicandyLand on Etsy. They had hair clips attached, so I poked tiny holes in the hood of the onesie and attached the ears to my hair. The bow was made by Jo-D Fongers at CutePolkaDots on Etsy. The tutu was ordered from Amazon.com and the pink furry slippers came from my local Dollar General Store.
